প্ৰাৰম্ভিক জীৱন

১৬৫৬ চনৰ ৮ নৱেম্বৰত পূৱ লণ্ডনৰ হেগাৰষ্টন নামে ঠাইত এডমাণ্ড হেলিৰ জন্ম হৈছিল। হেলিৰ পিতৃৰ নাম আছিল এডমণ্ড আৰু মাতৃৰ নাম আছিল এনি। শিশু অৱস্থাত হেলি গণিতৰ প্ৰতি বিশেষ আগ্ৰহী আছিল। ছেইণ্ট পলচ স্কুল আৰু কুইনচ্ কলেজ, অক্সফ'ৰ্ডৰ পৰা হেলিয়ে প্ৰাৰম্ভিক শিক্ষা লাভ কৰিছিল। স্নাতক ছাত্ৰাৱস্থাতেই হেলিয়ে সৌৰজগত আৰু সৌৰ কলংকৰ ওপৰত গৱেষণা পত্ৰ প্ৰকাশ কৰিছিল।^৩
